Production access is intended for production-ready projects where significant amounts of computing resources are required.
Proposals are assessed by technical review on the suitability and compatibility of the project with the requested computing resources. Proposals also undergo project peer review where they are evaluated on their scientific soundness and innovation potential.
Success in such a call will be based on the applicant providing a substantiated proposal for effectively using the requested resources and especially on the scientific excellence and innovation potential of the project.
Calls for Production access will be held at least twice a year. The allocation time is 1 year. A final report is required which will be both technical and scientific.
Calls also include an "Industry Access" allocation, where a percentage of the available HPC resources will be prioritised for applications from industry.
